Our vision is to provide a welcoming, sociable, opportunity-rich environment that safely challenges all children, enabling them to meet their full potential.
Through a combination of hard work and determination from the team, plus excellent support and loyalty from parents/carers, we have established an excellent reputation in the local community. The purpose built nursery was added to Treverbyn Academy's site in 2005, enabling us to cater for a wider age range (from 2 to rising 5’s) and provide childcare during term times, in line with the main school.

We strive for the best possible outcomes for all children using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, recognising that every child is unique. We provide high quality care through a well-motivated, knowledgeable and committed team of practitioners. We nurture trust and confidence in our children by creating a fun and varied environment where they can happily learn through play. We actively support children's emotional and social development, enabling them to get the most out of their nursery experience and be ready for the next stage of their life.

Our setting has Healthy Under 5's status and we actively promote children's health and wellbeing, e.g. lunch box ideas, daily physical exercise, Supervised daily toothbrushing & visits from dental nurse, firefighters, police etc.

Our outdoor learning environment includes a sensory garden, mud kitchen, bug hotel, sand and water play as well as tree climbing and den building opportunities. These enable the children to manage their own risks in our safe, supervised environment.

Our Nursery team is proud to be a part of Treverbyn Academy and we enjoy working alongside a passionate and skilled team to continually to build on the quality of our provision.
