Autumn Term 2016 - Making bread and butter

While we were at Lanhydrock we were shown some of the artefacts that were used in the house during the Victorian era. One of the devices that got us thinking was a butter churn. We discussed how it would work and what the butter pats would be used for. Then we decided to have a go at creating butter Victorian style using some jam jars! (We also thought that to test the butter properly we needed to create some bread to go with it, so we didn't!)
